How much will it cost? |

Many website companies will say, "Sure, we'll build
you a site for a couple of hundred dollars", but they
don't reveal the hidden costs until you're committed. Keep in mind there is more to a website than just the cost of its construction. You will also need to pay an annual hosting fee and most people want their own domain name. Obviously, it will depend on how complex the site is, but here's a sample costing for a basic site: |

How long does it take? |

The actual site creation process can be performed in a few days. This usually
stretches out over some weeks, or even months because of the need for customers
to review layouts and graphical content and so on. Also, the amount of content provided by the customer (i.e. text and photos) will influence the overall time till completion. |

How will my site be found? |

Most people assume that when they get a website the enquiries will come
rolling in, but this is not the case. For a search engine to even list your
site it first needs to know it exists. Then the site itself needs to be optimised
for the search engines. All of the major search engines will allow a basic listing for free, but if you want guaranteed exposure, you will have to pay for it. As part of our service, we will build your site optimised for search engines and arrange a basic submission to several major engines incorporated into the cost of your site. If you require guaranteed listings, please ask. |

Your hosting account with Eastcoast IT comes with a comprehensive site monitoring and statistics package. This is easily accessible through a web browser via your user name and password. |
